Math and Science

“We learn, grow and improve because of curiosity. “

The strong desire to know and understand something has made the world as we experience it today. Children are born curious although it is a habit they also need to continually develop and have encouraged.

Curiosity sparks inspiration and this inspiration fuels investigation and innovation.

To complement our Project-Based Learning approach that furthers the goal of learning-by-doing, our BigByte Junior students begin to think critically about the world around them from an early age.

After mornings full of Language Arts activities, in the afternoons students work in small groups doing inquiry-based explorations of early math and science concepts.

By introducing natural science phenomena and developing conceptual awareness of mathematical ideas, our afternoon curriculum InspireScience and MyMath, programs both from McGrawHill, give our students a strong foundational base of knowledge for the performance expectations of later years.

The future belongs to the curious.
The ones who are not afraid to try it, explore it, poke at it, question it, and turn it inside out.
